Marathon effort for CALM

Chris Griffin from Sensata IT Solutions, along with Mike Land and Richard Mayneord from RHL Creative raised more than £1,100 for the Swindon Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Movement by taking part in the Silverstone Half Marathon on Sunday 15th March 2009.

The businessmen, all based at the Basepoint Business Centre in West Swindon, took on the 13-mile course with support from personal trainer Les Slinn.  For Chris it was a major challenge, before starting training for the half marathon he had not done any serious exercise in more than 20 years.

Helped by Mike and Richard, Chris managed to complete the course, and more importantly raise much needed funds for CALM.
